The session can be a discovery call, clarity call, or one-time consultation, tailored to your specific requirements. Whether you’re seeking guidance on subject selection, career paths, educational choices, or any related queries, this focused session aims to address your questions and provide actionable insights for your future decisions.
Psychometric Testing
The MBTI-Strong Interest Inventory® is a powerful tool to help individuals understand their interests, preferences, and potential career paths.The SII® is particularly beneficial for students as they navigate their educational choices. By identifying their unique interests and personality traits early on, students can make more informed decisions about their academic paths, extracurricular activities, and potential career options. The testing service includes taking SII Assessment® online (approximately 30-40 mins) followed by a 60-70 minute counseling session.

Sometimes, we encounter complex career and life transitions that the traditional career counseling approaches can't address. At Ask-Aparna, we use Life-Design Counseling, a contemporary career intervention, to harness the power of storytelling in helping clients design and redesign their identities in the evolving world of 21st-century work. Aparna guides you in constructing, narrating, and voicing your personal story. Sometimes, this involves deconstructing a narrative that no longer serves you. The outcome is a new, empowering story that helps you navigate your current career concerns, challenges, or transitions. This comprehensive methodology, which includes three one-hour sessions, has proven especially beneficial for college graduates, working professionals, and individuals returning to work after a break.

Aparna chose ‘Life Design Counseling’ as her dissertation topic during her MA at Warwick, driven by her passion for helping clients identify their purpose and calling. Interestingly, she was one of the three subjects in her own study. Through the process of understanding, researching, applying, and critiquing this model, Aparna discovered her own calling in counseling. Her research on Life Design Counseling also earned her the prestigious APCDA Scholar recognition.
